About The Field Notes by Aspen Pristine Clean
We clean houses for a living. Big ones, old ones, rentals that turn over twice a week. The Field Notes is where we write down what the work teaches us.
How we test
Nothing gets a verdict from a press release. We buy the product, put it on a real job, and use it for weeks. If it fails, we say so. No sponsorships, no paid placement.
Where we work
Two valleys, two very different housing stocks. Aspen and Snowmass: altitude, snowmelt, wildfire ash, stone and heated floors. The Hudson Valley: original plaster, wide-plank floors, river damp, and 200-year-old millwork. Most advice online assumes neither.
Who writes it
Crew leads and the owner, edited into plain English. Every tutorial is written to be followed, with the materials and tools listed up front.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Reach the desk through the contact page.
